There are some amazing referrals and pictures on our Facebook Reviews and Facebook Fan Photos pages (click on the text to go to that page). You don't have to guess as to whether or not they're real!
Hi Jeanine!
I just thought I'd give you quick update on Zoe's first day with us. She spent the majority of the car ride home sleeping, and didn't try to wiggle away from Steph at all as she held her. Pretty impressive for an inquisitive puppy!
We got home, and she immediately set off to explore her new home. We kept the boundaries fairly restricted, but let her do her thing seeing as it was her first time here. She spent the rest of the day playing, sleeping, playing, sleeping, etc... We took her outside as frequently as we could, especially after naps, play time, and eating and drinking. She only had one real accident in the house, but did her business outside the rest of the time. We're trying to give her as much positive reinforcement as we can on everything good that she does, and I think she enjoys that! Lots of tail wagging. She's sleeping peacefully in her crate as I speak, and I'll get up in the night to check on her. She's a playful puppy, and can get a bit excited at times which leads to some play biting. I've heard a few theories on how to train your pup to avoid this...what would you recommend? Well, that's it for now. Talk to you soon!

Hello- Just thought you might enjoy some pics of some of your babies. He's doing great- very sweet and calm puppy. I take him on weekly hikes and loves the other dogs he sees on the mountain trails. The only problem is all the people make us stop to tell us how handsome he is and of course they have to pet him- lol. He goes out to lunch and just lays down and waits for people to come over and pet him. He seems confused when people don't stop and say hello to him .
Anyway-
Hope all is well
Mike

Hi Jeannine, I had a quick question for ya so I thought I'd update you on our awesome pup. Attached is a picture of him, he's getting pretty big (45lbs at 10 months). He's a very well behaved boy. We are taking him to obedience classes and he learns very fast. He's always been friendly with people at our home and even now he does not jump on people, just licks them to death (we're working on it).
We are thinking about getting another dog, but we don't want any tension between the two animals (or at least the smallest amount of tension we can). We were thinking about getting a female puppy. Is there an age that Donner should reach before we get another puppy? I don't want him to feel threatened or anything like that.
Thank you for your help,
Sarah P-K.

Hi! My boyfriend and I purchased Oscar, originally MOJO, from you guys 2 and a half years ago. We are in love with him. He is our dog-child! (and he knows it) HAHA We know we definitely want to get one of your girls when we have saved enough up, is Ariel from one of your litters? She is super cute, but we are just so impressed with OScar that we know we only want to get a puppy from your dogs.
Matthew and Laura Thanks!

Jeanine
Good morning to you. I hope you and your family are doing well.
I wanted to give you an update on Bugsy since its been a while.
He is doing great. We have been taking him to a doggy day care place on Tuesdays and Thursdays for about 3 weeks now. Its a really nice place, lots of dogs, very schedule oriented, nice indoor and outdoor play areas. He really likes the slide. We might have to get one for the backyard. And there is a little beagle named Kiwi that seems to have taken a liking of him. Maybe his first girlfriend!!
We have also been through 2 sessions of puppy training classes at the same place too. We are working on sit, down, stay, leash walking, food/bowl manners right now. Bugsy has his sits learned very well and recieves compliments from the folks at day care all the time on how well mannered, respectful and sweet he is.
At home he is quite comfortable and knows his way around now. He has gotten tall enough to go up the stairs to the bedrooms when we arent looking, so we had to get the baby gates out. Its funny because he flys up the stairs, but it still a little unsure about going down them, so we have to carry him down. He is eating about 1.5-1.75 cups of food for breakfast and dinner. During the week he doesnt show much interest in lunch, except when he is at day care where he really works up an appetite for lunch, but then only eats a small dinner.
He goes over to the back door and paws at it or sits down when he is ready to go outside to take care of business. We were taking him out in the middle of the night (1:00am-2:00am) up until about a week ago, but after we didnt get up one night to our alarm, we found the next morning Bugsy was sound asleep and took his time scratching and stretching before moseying over to the door to go out. Since he didnt seem to be bursting at the bladder, we have since stopped taking him our in the middle of the night and he has been great. No crate accidents since the first couple nights we brought him home. I think he prefers it that way too as it was really getting difficult to wake him up and drag him outside from a sound sleep.
He also does well at night in his crate when its time for bed. A treat just before bed and then we spend a few minutes with him until he gets settled and then we head up stairs. No barking at all. In the middle of the day or when we have to put him in the crate for a short time when he knows we are around gets him barking a bit still.
He has made friends with Adrienne's parents dog too. They play pretty well together. Adrienne and I were out of town over this past weekend, so Bugsy stayed the weekend at Adriennes parents house for sleep over. They said he did great.
He likes his walks around the neighborhood too. He gets lots of compliments from people on how cute or handsome of a dog he is. Everyone can tell right away hes a boxer. The folks at day care comment on how he seems to prance or almost march when he walks. Lots of confidence and doesnt seem to be afraid of anything...except maybe the vaccuum cleaner, which he is getting used to still. And he loves car rides too. When Adrienne and I take him for drive, he will look around a bit and then usually fall right asleep. If I take him for drive solo, he likes to stand on the seat and look out the windows. And if I have to run into a store for a couple minutes, he just sits there looking around. I havent seen or heard him barking at all when he is in the care alone.
Well, thats about it for now. We have an appointment set at about the 6-month mark to get him neutered. He has had his shots and pills. Doing very good so far.
I have attached a couple pictures that we have taken and that are from his day care.
Hope all is well!!
Take care, Tyson, Adrienne, and Bugsy

Hi Jeanine, I just wanted to stop by and say “Hello” and send a few resent pictures of Russell “Russy”. Today is his birthday and he turned 4 years old. One picture was taken by you before we adopted him. He is really so sweet, loving and very patient. We love him. Hope all is going well with you.

We call him Zak and he's doing what he does best in the pics. Greatest dog in the world!

Hi Jeanine,
Will his papers include his parents names, etc.? Also, if you have any pictures of his parents we'd appreciate it!
Speaking of pictures, check out these pictures of Rocky!! He's such a great dog. We love him to death. Let us know if you need a reference.
Best,
(Helen, Mark, Dom, Van & Rocky)

Jeanine
Thank you for the AKC papers. Brody is around 35 LBS now and is doing great. If he is outside too long in this heat he breaks out into hives so we have been trying to keep him in the air condition on these very hot days but he just wants to be outside playing.
He finished and graduated from his dog obedience class on June 1st and loved socializing with the other dogs. He was the youngest dog in the class (the others were closer to 1 year old) so every week everyone would comment on how big he was getting.
He is such a well behaved dog and just loves people. I love the fact that when people or animals walk by our house he doesn't bark he just watches out the window and wags his tail. Most dogs in our neighborhood just bark and bark. I think the obedience class and keeping him socialized has helped with that. (as well as proper breeding....thank you).
New Castle is the "Fireworks" capital so of course the Fourth of July is very noisy around here. Last week we went for a walk in the evening while some fireworks were going off close by (a few blocks away) and I could barely hold him back from running the other way. Last night was a fireworks festival downtown and at 10:00pm the local fireworks companies put off a huge display. We live up on a hill north of the city and have a great view of the fireworks. At that distance Brody was fine and just sat there and watched the whole time as if he was really taking in the beauty of them all.
He just loves, loves, loves to chase lightening bugs and play ball.
Camri still tells us that the best day of her life was when we got her Brody.
Here are a few recent pics of him.

Hi Jeannie,
I just wanted to send you an update on our "big girl" now. She had 2 knee surgeries on her hint joint last year, but is now 100% recovered and does not have any issues. (reason for that is that she got hit by the entrance door due to wind).
She is from the March 08 2006 litter. We live in Chicago and I recently recommended you to a young couple out of Cleveland that got Bugsy from you. Now I have another friend from Chicago that might be contacting you for a puppy.
We are doing good. Mala is great with our 15 month old daughter, as a matter of fact they are "partners in crime", they like to clean out the fridge when I do not see it. The baby takes things out and the dog helps her to open the boxes I hope you and your dogs are doing fine
Here are some recent pictures.
Best Regards

Hi Jeanine! It's been awhile since I wrote. Hope all is well with you. I tried to find your website but was unsuccessful; can you email me what it is? I hope you are still at this email and that I didn't overload your inbox... lots of pics to send. Nikki is doing great, she will be 3 this year. We are enjoying every day with her! She is such a good dog, and so smart. She loves everyone and we get a lot of compliments about her. Mike absolutely loves her; seriously, how could you NOT love this little dog?! She has a vet appt next week for her annual checkup - I think she's about 60 lbs, so she hasn't really grown much, if any. She's a perfect size. We can't imagine life without her. OK, gotta run. Hope you get this! Take care! Gail & crew in NY

Hi Jeanine-
We are probably going to wait a little while...but really want to consider another one of your dog's. We'd love to have another one from Cody's mom... (if you are still breeding her)... or I thought I remembered you telling me that you kept one of Cody's sisters to breed? Eitherway...if you could let me know of your plans...we would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks!
Patrick

Jeanine, Wow you put out another good litter. Again, we take such good care of him even you would be amazed. He goes everywhere with us and every person who sees him comments on his looks and how smart and well behaved he is. Thankyou for that. The quality of dogs you produce, I haven't seen anywhere else and thats why I am coming back to you.
Daniel, Lindsey, and Rocky!!
What a guy! We love him to pieces and he is just fitting in so perfectly. He plays constantly with my boxer girl, Kenya, and then they both crash and sleep like they are in a coma! His ears are almost completely healed and we have started the taping process. He's not too keen on it, but goes along with me. Nancy

Hi.. we purchased a boxer puppy named isabelle from you back in feb or march of this year. she is doing great and she is a wonderful addition to our family. here are a few pictures of her. thank you so much for being such a great breeder and for raising such great puppies. Meghan and Henderson

HI Jeanine and Brad,
We purchased our boxer, Gabby, from Northview in early December. Just thought I would send a few pictures so you can see how she is growing. Gabby is almost 6 months already and we absolutely love her. I don't think we can imagine our lives without her. She has completed her first puppy class in the middle of February and she is very active and playful. She is potty and crate trained and doing well. We are at a bit of a chewing phase, but just on her toys and bones....well and occasionally us. We have gotten so many compliments on how beautiful she is everytime we take her to the vet, etc.
One of the attached pictures shows Gabby with my sister's 4 year old Yellow Lab, Madison, and a friend's 2 year old Bull Mastif, Bella who is about 110lbs. Still trying to break her of putting her paws up on other dogs....we are working on it.
Just thought we would send an update and some pictures. Hope you are doing well. We saw the new litter on your website, they are beautifil and I am sure they are keeping you busy.
Take care and Happy Easter, Heather and Aaron

Thought I'd send you an updated picture of Harley. She's been a pleasure and has taught me much about unconditional love! My 2 cat's still don't want to play with her, regardless of how hard she tries...
Thanks,
Jean
